Life throws you a lot of curves and so does the road. The ATA High Performance Car Control Clinic gives you the tools to take them in stride. ATA offers defensive driving courses to teens and adults, with a focus on high performance car handling and cementing real world skills. In approximately 5 hours, this class will change the way you see the road. The first hour is spent in the classroom becoming better acquainted with vehicle dynamics. You will learn proactive techniques to keep you safe, and see the real world consequences of distracted driving. The next three and a half hours will be spent turning theory into action. Practice emergency reaction driving skills with professional car control specialists on a safe and controlled course. Many of our instructors are former racecar drivers and a few are veteran police academy driving instructors. Now you can handle the road just like the pros! Afterwards participants will be debriefed and receive a certificate of completion. Though it was created with teens in mind, this course is invaluable to drivers of all ages and experience levels. A perfect gift for the new, teen driver!

It began as an alternative to sentencing programs in Nevada municipal traffic courts for juvenile offenders. Over the years however, ATA has expanded to become an invaluable resource for teens and adults alike. By focusing on real world skills, and emergency savvy, ATA provides thorough and comprehensive driver training and car control clinics.
