The owners are two childhood friends who both had a passion for brewing and fermenting, and it really shines through in the making of their tasty cider. They have made it their mission to brew ciders from 100% fresh pressed apples grown on their 6th generation family farm, using only natural processes. You won't find an endless list of chemicals, artificial sweeteners, or excuses on their label - just fresh deliciousness. This offer is great for a date or a group of friends that share a passion for cider and it's origins. The tour will last about thirty minutes, so you can really experience all the magic that goes into every bottle made. Tours typically swing through the cider house, cellars, and bottling line, with plenty of detours along the way. Bad Seed Cider Co. is the kind of idea some friends get after a few drinks at the local pub. "Hey, let's start a cider company!" - and then forget about it the next day. But Albert and Devin two guys up in Highland New York actually followed through with it. It didn't hurt that Albert was a 6th generation apple farmer and Devin enjoyed brewing and fermenting anything that sounded like it had promise to make a tasty beverage. After our first few years, no matter what they did, they could not keep up with the demands of the cider. So the two built a bigger and better cider house complete with big shinny tanks and a Tap room all so they can now invite everyone to their house and show how cider should be.
