Ready to travel back to the 80s for a totally awesome and fun-filled run? I mean, who wouldn't, right? Come out on June 23rd and celebrate the most righteous decade of all time! Grab your leg warmers, headbands and your boogie running shoes because this is going to be the most radical and bitchin' event ever. Run, walk or boogie your way around the scenic beaches and bay of Long Beach. There will be tons of gnarly surprises along the course as well as music and dancers. The fun does not end at the finish line, after the race there will be the awards show then a live 80's music concert, courtesy of The Pac Men, and FUN at the awesome finish festival. Run back to the future at the Awesome 80s Run Long Beach!

Early packet pickup will be on Saturday, June 22 Gold's Gym Long Beach. Packets can also be picked up at the race starting at 6am
To pick up your packet for another person you must have their signed waiver and a copy of their ID
The first 2 hours of parking are free with validation in the Pike Parking Structure. The charge is $3/hour after that. Click here for more info

Travel back in time with us to the days of big hair, neon colors, leg warmers, headbands, and some of the best party music ever recorded! Dress up as your favorite celebrity or cartoon character from the 1980′s to run, walk, or skate to earn a wicked medal and other gnarly prizes!

This event was full of life, fun and very well organized. I enjoyed the course. Plenty of volunteers and freebies from vendors. One thing I would encourage them to improve upon is to have a gear secured gear check area vs. an open area to drop your bag. Yes, there was a volunteer, however your bag was in the open free to take.
