ART SAN DIEGO – the difference is your experience. Sometimes, in a small gallery, you just can't catch the grandeur of a piece of art, or feel how it fits into the larger collection. One of the biggest art shows on the West Coast, Art San Diego brings out the vibrancy and quality of the world's best contemporary artists. This is not your typical art show. Multiple venues exhibit large pieces of art, making your experience more meaningful because art is seen in its intended context. Experiences are curated by artists that are rocking the art world or making a big splash on their way up. You'll attend Art Labs emphasizing the great art scene taking place in San Diego. You'll experience Solo Exhibitions, with work from only one artist at a time, showcasing the site-specific work in a way that was never before and probably never again will be seen - until the art hits the museum. Enjoy other special events such as the Launchpad Program, Spotlight, and Art Prize to experience up-and-coming artists exhibit and be awarded for their achievements in contemporary fine arts. All of this happens in scenic Balboa Park, designed by a renowned architect: art in its own right.
